Explain.

We're all born into Edensphere with no recollection of our former lives, save a dream. Yet we can remember other things, like songs, how to read, etc. Thus, partially.

Why?

[Writing gives him a headache and he wants to do it as little as possible. There's a dark pulsing thought in the back of his mind telling him to just wreck the journal, shred it until nothing's left, because that would be better than careful penmanship.]
